Inpatient Services

 

Good nutrition is a key component of recovering from surgery or illness. The Department of Nutrition and Food Services provides Nutrition care, Dietary advice and Education to patients while they are in the hospital. The goal is to guide the patient towards an optimum nutritional status and a healthier lifestyle that will benefit the patient and their entire family.
Our services are provided by Registered dietitian, who works closely with the patient’s medical team covering all the service line in the hospital, providing valuable Medical Nutrition Therapy through:

  • Therapeutic Modified Diets (Diabetic, Cardiac, Sodium-restricted, Gluten-free, Vegetarian diet orders)
  • Enteral Nutrition through Tube Feeding (Nasogastric Feeding, PEG Feeding and Jejunostomy Tube Feeding)
  • Parenteral Nutrition (Intravenous administration of nutrition)

Our Registered Clinical Dietitian is available to provide reliable, separate facts from fads, easy-to-understand nutrition information, helping individuals to reach their Nutrition and Health goals through simple lifestyle changes.

The counselling approach is all about being realistic and providing the personalized guidance for what your body needs

Our outpatient nutrition services include the management of the following medical conditions but are not limited to:
